The energy and ecological transition

The paths of the energy transition are not as clearly marked out as we often hear. The solutions advocated by some are despised by others. Nuclear power is seen as the most efficient vector of the energy transition for some, while others consider it deleterious above all. Photovoltaic and wind power represent the future for some, while others denounce their effect on biodiversity. As for hydrogen, is it a good substitute for fossil fuels or a low energy efficiency solution? And what role is or should be played by the State, companies and citizens in this transition? 
 
The purpose of this cycle, created as part of the Grands débats École de Paris ENGIE (in partnership with ENGIE University) seminar, is to organize debates to shed light on the paths of the energy transition.
