Bertrand BALLARIN

Graduate of the Saint-Cyr military academy, IEP (‘Sciences-Po’) Paris (public service section), and the École de guerre. He was a student at the IHEDN (Institut des hautes études de Défense nationale : Institute of Higher National Defence Studies). He was a career officer in the Army from 1974 to 2003. He started working for Michelin at the end of 2003 and was put in charge of two sites, Bourges and then Shanghai. When he returned to France in the Spring of 2012, he was put in charge of the accountability approach for the group and policies applied to factory workers. He has been in charge of social relations in the group since July 2013.
