Composite materials engineer and sailor. He is the founder of Beyond the Sea, which he created in 2014 after winning numerous offshore races and participating in three Vendée Globe races, one of which he completed after repairing his mast alone. With Beyond the Sea, he is now developing kite-powered ship traction to decarbonise the sea shipping.
