Began his career at Renault in 1971. Having carried out various jobs as analyst and project manager in France, he was closely involved in entry-level vehicle projects in 2001 and was head of the Dacia project, and Entry programme director in 2005. In January 2012, he was appointed managing director of the Renault-Nissan Alliance A-segment development unit in charge of the creation of a new platform shared with Nissan and all cars using this platform.
