It is often said that SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) are innovative, but not really international. Projectiondesign proves the opposite. Following a failed merger à l'américaine, this Norwegian company, leader in the digital cinema projector market, managed to create a path for its development without leaving its site of origin and yet becoming entirely globally orientated. It manages to supply its customers in an industry dominated by the Chinese and Taiwanese. The manufacture of the product has been perfected to Japanese quality methods, and the company is capable of marketing its products on a global scale. The company controls its growth by relying on clear and firm principles of self-financing, the management of its international team, and the selection of its partners.
