Of the two founders of Aquarelle.com, one is a graduate of the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique, the other studied at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration. Together, they founded the company in 1997, a start-up which sells flowers through the Internet. This is a business which is supposed to be simple and less stressful than jobs in the high-tech sector. In fact, the company's growing competitiveness comes for the most part from new technologies which the founders have used to their advantage, coupled with their ability to make good decisions quickly. The fact that they are brothers makes this easier. The easy life is not for now… They seem to be on the right tracks since investors who took a risk in backing them are now proud to have done so. Most of their clients remain loyal and growth shows no signs of letting up. What if their market was not just that for flowers, but also for a certain kind of communication ? Would that not radically increase their prospects of development ?
