For the past fifteen years, Solidarités Nouvelles face au Chômage has been putting into practice a simple and concrete way of helping the unemployed. It is based on sharing one’s time and income in a one-to-one relationship, which enables the creation of temporary, ‘fill-in’ jobs in sister associations. The members of the association do more than just talk by becoming actively involved on a personal level, and leading collective action against social exclusion in institutions.
