Health is increasingly expensive. "What is the solution ?" ask the authorities. "Calculations !" say economists who would like to deal only in figures, even the cost of living. "It’s contrary to ethics !" say doctors who are nevertheless increasingly fond of economics to defend their projects. "You are going to cripple us !" say manufacturers who could write brilliant economic studies to their advantage.
Economic studies still occupy a small place in the health sector, but this could change if they were used for negotiation. However, would this not contradict economists’ ethics ?
