Seminar Digital and entrepreneurial transformations | Thursday March 10, 2016 - 17h30 - 19h30

The digital sector is no longer the sole preserve of computer engineers which it was in the last few decades. Its sudden emergence in all aspects of life, the strength of its networks and the changing demands of clients have given rise to a new culture, the ‘Big data’ culture with its ‘Big players’- Google‚ Apple‚ Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft - which were the first to understand that speed was not incompatible with excellence. We are now faced with disposable systems, automated manufacturing processes‚ machine learning‚ platforms and the Cloud which all need simple, structured and efficient programming code. New IT (Information Technology) programmers, working in cross-function teams, are inventing the ‘100% digital’ company before our very eyes.
